Nutmeg Oatmeal Raisin Cookies (Cookie Challenge #5)

As you can see in the picture above, I tried making oatmeal raisin cookies, but I accidentally put too much nutmeg in them, so it’s only right to call these nutmeg oatmeal raisin cookies. I used the recipe from Simply Recipes, which you can find here. They were nice and chewy, and I cooked them on parchment paper, which I don’t use usually. It’s definitely worth buying, though, because it was so easy to use and talk about easy clean up!

I know I’ve been sharing the song that I listened to with my cookie challenges, but I didn’t actually listen to one song while cooking these. Instead, weve been shuffling my Ultimate Christmas playlist, so I listened to that. One of the songs that came on was one of my favorite Christmas songs ever, Mary, Did You Know? by Pentatonix. It was definitely fun to hear that. Shuffling Christmas music is always so much fun!

Well, just a short post today to share these cookies with you. Right now, I’m planning my rabbit (Rosalind)’s birthday. I don’t need to do anything huge, but I love her so much, and I want to show my love. I can’t wait to share the finished result with all of you.

What do you do for your pet’s birthday? Do you like nutmeg? What did you bake today?

God bless you!
